Prudence
holds lectures / presentations in her studio in Central
London, near Holborn, for groups of up to 20 persons.
Prudence Millinery hats are hand made in the classical
manner using only traditional millinery techniques,
blocking hats on wooden blocks specially ordered and
hand made to Prudence specifications.
Prudence designs and creates hats for her own label,
Prudence Millinery, Vivienne Westwood and many other
fashion designers.
During a typical 1 hour to 1 ˝ hours presentation,
Prudence talks about her work, inspirations, history,
and the art of millinery and current trends.
The presentation is followed by questions and answers.
In her studio, Prudence will show to the visitors her
most recent work and collections.
The group
will also see:
- Hats in the making.
- Collections of wooden blocks.
- Portfolio of previous work
Presentations are in English.
Although Prudence speaks some French and Japanese,
translators are required and must be provided by the
group.
We can provide translation in French.
